Since there is no 2008 category, I'm posting here.

With all due respect, I'm a bit surprised you present this when it performs so badly in the demo. User clicks an image to open and it gets cut off by the left menu making the content useless, same with the iframe. What's the point of that?

Then, couldn't close the iframe because the contact window kept coming down over it when I hit "close".

Parts of other windows would appear with no meaning in the frame (see image), and when choosing items on the Joomla menu the contact form momentarily appears.

Does this concept really work for you ???

Hi Hifive,

Thanks for the feedback ...

Yes I missed this in testing. I only tested the Smoothbox in wider resolutions so Ill add a z-index css to fix this.

The space that the individual blocks are apart is set in the index file. The demo has quite a few different layout options and some of them show them side by side, vertical only one at the screen at a time and others that have parts of other windows showing. This is totally controllable in the index file.

The contact form appearing is an issue with the mootools script not loading before the actual div does,so you get the flash of it on the screen. When you store text there it shouldnt have that effect ... but I will try to put together a work around.

Thanks angain for your feedback,

Anthony.

Hi Hifive,

I just updated the zip in the download area with a fix for the lightbox and contact us issue.

Thanks again for spotting them.

Hi, Anthony. Thanks for the update. I know you've had your hands full these past weeks.

You have some of the best templates out there. Some are very ambitious, so now my job is to understand how I can make them work.

No problem ... I try my best to test them in dev stage but sometimes bugs slip through

Glad you like the templates ... let me know if you need a hand with any of them ...

Thanks Anthony.

Anthony,

I installed the Habitat Scroller on my site (Joomla 1.5) with the Joomla default content. I see text overwriting itself and squeezed off the frame, as well as a problem with the newsflash window descending and sticking when I click the "Contact Us" in the upper screen right.

Will this template not work over a default content install? What's with the Newsflash appearing from Contact Us?

Thanks.

Hi Hifive,

Apologies ... Ive just updated the zip in the download area to 1.2. That was an issue with version control ... its all fixed up now.

The newsflash appears because you have the newsflash published to the top module position.

Thanks Anthony.

Anthony,

I installed the new version and still see columns encroaching on one another (after dumping cache and browser refresh). This is in Firefox 2.0.0.11. No problems in Camino 1.5.4.

How does one set up or remove the dual column test displays on the front page that we see in the screen shot? Is it from the css, the php, or a control panel in Joomla 1.5?

Thanks.

Is that on mac or pc it doesnt happen here on mac firefox?

To change the columns on the front page go to the home menu item on the main menu and choose 1 column in the right hand dropdown/sliding area.

Hi, Anthony.

That is on a Mac/Firefox. I dumped the cache and restarted the browser. Same result. Sorry.

Thanks for your reply to the column issue.
