Simple Shop has been released and is available for download by Club Members.

The template pack includes:
- J1.0 and 1.5 native templates
- 4 Tableless Virtuemart Templates
- Updated version of JB Login
- A small hack for the Virtuemart Cart module to get it to display in a single line.

Module Setup:
* JB Login is published at User1.
* The Thin Virtumeart Cart is published to top.
* An Extended Menu module is published to the left position using the flat list setting.
* Advert1 and advert2 sit above and below the main content area. It is possible to publish upto three modules in each module position and have them space evenly across the page.
* A menu module with the flat list selected is published to the bottom left menu area.
* The bottom position is published to the lower right area.

Please note that when setting up the Joomla 1.5 template all menu modules need to use the legacy flat list setting to achieve the same menu layout as in the demo.

Hi Anthony! How can I change Simple Shop background on left and right side of the page? I know it`s somewhere in template.css but I can`t find it..

I've installed the simple shop template and looks great in Firefox and IE7 but IE6 looks terrible. My content is centered instead of being left aligned and the whole page is fully left aligned which doesn't look great either. Can you tell me some CSS code that I can put in to make it left aligned in IE6?

Hi Ville,

Might be a little difficult with this template but certainly possible. The divs you need to be concerned with are outer_wrappper. That covers the fill width of the screen and is where you would set the different background colour.

You will then need to change the mpadding on inner_wrap to make it look pretty. There may need some extra changes but that would be the major change.

Hi Lindy,

It sounds like a bug that Ive picked up on some of our J1.5 templates. The code you need to change is in the index.php file and you need to move the doctype declaration to the first line (just up one line) after the intitial php declaration. That will fix the issue. Ill be updating all of the templates today anyway if you prefer to wait till then.
